Car Pooling For GV Events

Can you give one or more people a ride to an upcoming Go Veggie event? If so, please call our Hotline and leave your name, the area in which you live, and your phone number. If car pooling turns out to be convenient for you and the person(s) who need a ride, you can meet them at a location that’s on your way or have them come to your home. You won’t have to pick anyone up at his or her home. How you arrange it is your choice!

We Need You!

Take on a Small Job and Feel More Involved. Needed are volunteers who can spend a few hours a month doing any of the following (some jobs not even requiring you to leave home!)

Sending out newsletters from the hotline. Taking Dine Out messages from the hotline. Writing an occasional newsletter article. Helping with event planning on the south side, north side, or in the north or south suburbs. Volunteering to help at events.

Newsletter Distribution Ideas

1. Any number of you can help with this. We just need you to let us know if you’re aware of places where we could make our newsletter available. Of course, we are especially interested in places that are vegetarian friendly and that vegetarians are apt to frequent. Just email the name, address, and phone number of the business and the contact person’s name to admin@go-veggie.org, or call in the information to our Hotline, (773) 871-7000.

2. Request extra newsletters to distribute at meetings, or to your customers, clients, and friends.
